Coach Ryan Bernardi’s team dominated the Ft Erie team from Canada yesterday from the opening tip off in the Grind Session World Championship semi-final round in Las Vegas. The Crew breezed to a 74-50 victory and advance to the finals round in Chicago next weekend.
Grind Session MVP AJ Dybantsa was the game MVP with 17 points and 8 rebounds. The win improved Prolific Prep to 18-0 on the year in the Grind Session Power 12 conference and moves them 2 games closer to a perfect Grind Session season and their second championship in a row. The win next weekend in Chicago would make Prolific Prep the first team ever to win back to back tiles on the Grind Session .
The first game for the Crew will be at 3:15pm CST against Royal Crown from Canada. Dream City Christian will take on DME Academy at 6:45 with the two winning teams playing for the championship Sunday evening at 8pm CST.
