The Crew win Back 2 Back Grind Session Titles

Prolific Prep of Napa Christian defeated Dream City Christian 84-74 Sunday evening to win their third Grind Session World Championship and second in two years. The Crew were lead by Sophomore sensation Tyran Stokes who had 18 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and a steal. The Crew are the first team ever to go Back 2 Back in the Grind Session history as well as being the first team ever to finish the season without a loss. Prolific Prep were 20-0 in Grind Session play this season.

In addition to Stokes AJ Dybantsa dropped in 24 points for the Crew with 8 rebounds 2 assists and a steal. Dybantsa was named MVP of the 2023-24 Grind Session season last week in Las Vegas at the Grind Session season ending banquet. Coach Ryan Bernardi repeated as coach of the year and Stokes made the All-Underclassmen team.

Coach Ryan Bernardi’s team will head home to Napa California and get ready for their upcoming appearance in the Chipotle Nationals in April. The Crew take on Link Academy April 2nd in Indianapolis in the first round of the event. Prolific Prep is seeded #3 and Link Academy is seeded #6 in the brackets. This is Prolific Prep’s 5th year in a row that they have made the Nationals event. The event was called the Geico Nationals until this year when Chipotle took over sponsorship of the event.
