Prolific Prep defeated Utah Prep 77-63 in Grind Session action in Denver Colorado Friday night. The Crew jumped out to an early 14-0 lead to start the game, but Utah Pep battled back to get close at 21-14 to close out the first quarter of play.
The game was a bit closer throughout the next three periods, but the Crew never let Utah closer than 9 points. Prolific Prep were lead by Alabama commit Aiden Sherrell woh had 20 points and was just dominant on the boards the entire game with 18 rebounds. Junior AJ Dybantsa was right behind Sherrell with 17 points and 5 rebounds while Derrion Reid threw in 13 points and 6 rebounds.
The game of the week in the Grind Session will be tonight as Prolific Prep takes on Dream City Christian. Coach Kyle Weavers team handed the Crew their only Grind Session loss last season at Crush in the Valley and they beat West Oaks last night in a blowout 104-50.
Tip off tonight will be at 4pm MT and you can catch all the action on TanagerSports.tv. After tonights game the boys will fly home to California and get ready for their big game against Columbus high school in Miami next Wednesday night.
