Prolific beats Winston Salem 100-74

Prolific Prep started its tenth season in the Grind Session with a dominating 100-74 victory over  Winston Salem Christian Saturday night in Fort Erie Canada. The Crew were lead by AJ Dybantsa, Mikey Lewis and Aiden Sherrell. Dybantsa had a double-double while Lewis added 20 points with 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Sherrell had 9 points with 4 rebounds and 4 blocked shots.

Coach Ryan Bernardi’s team came out strong in the opening quarter building a commanding 19-5 lead. The Crew scored on some amazing plays from Dybantsa, Lewis, and Derrion Reid. Lewis tossed a beautiful ally-oop pass to Dybantsa for a thunder dunk and Reid had 2 great blocked shots. Coach Bernardi’s full court press created turnovers and kept their opponents to just 5 points in the first period.

The second quarter was just as good as the first quarter for the Crew. Aiden Sherrell and Derrion Reid were grabbing rebounds and blocking shots as Mikey Lewis was controlling the game getting the ball to AJ who had 12 points in the first half.  The Crew went into the locker room up 43-20.

The Crew came out in the second half just as strong as the first half. The boys dominated the entire half scoring 57 points to lead them to victory. The boys hit 10 of 22 from behind the three point line and played strong defense the entire game.
